Senior Corrections Advisor (Inmate Classification & Housing) – Tunis, Tunisia

Senior Corrections Advisor for inmate classification and housing systems will be located full-time in Tunis, Tunisia, with rotational travel and paid-time-off provided, as part of a four-person project team, including two internationals and two Tunisians.  He/she will conduct assessment reports of pilot projects; develop & improve policies, plans & procedures; conduct in-person training for Tunisian corrections personnel; provide advice, mentorship, and implementation support; and coordinate closely with the Tunisian government and U.S. Embassy in Tunis. Correction services theory, management, instruction and hands-on capabilities will all be required.

Tunisian Translator & Corrections Advisor – Tunis, Tunisia

Two Translator & Corrections Advisors will be located full-time in Tunis, Tunisia., and includes regular travel throughout the country. The Advisors will be responsible for supporting written and verbal English and Arabic translation, and possibly French in addition, and in-person interpretation. They will assist RAI’s International Senior Corrections Advisors in the training of personnel from the Tunisian Director General of Prisons and Rehabilitation (DGPR); providing overall project implementation support; and advising on local regulations and customs.
